My wife and I have thoroughly enjoyed genuine Japanese dining at Kaishin for years. Dining there is a celebration, a most pleasurable experience from Suzuki's artistry and his family-like staff. You enter a relaxing atmosphere, a sensibly paced, comfortable calm retreat. We look forward to our weekly visits with our very talented and welcoming friends. (Oh ... don't take Echo's pen!).

Have ordered light take-out for post midnight eating and video editing after recording Treasure Coast Driftwoods at nearby Tony Roma's.

This is the REAL DEAL! We are very fussy sushi eaters, and have been searching in Martin/St Lucie for three years for authentic, fresh sushi. We have finally found it at Kaishin. Friendly staff too.

This is the best sushi I have ever had!! I am a professional fisherman and am very picky about quality when it comes to fish and this chef delivers. Suzuki is very passionate about his art and it shows in every bite. You have to try this place wether you are a sushi newbie or veteran!

Incredible sushi restaurant! The fish was all so fresh. We went on a quiet night and they sat and served us quickly! Including the time it took to eat, we were there 25 minutes! Their sweet tea tastes brewed in house and was good. Great, clean restaurant!We hope to eat there again!

Suzuki-san does an excellent job of izakaya-style sushi. Traditionally, izakaya cuisine in Japan are small plates that are ordered and shared around group with drinks.

My favorite sushi place! I love the food and the staff is fantastic! Suzuki is an extremely knowledgeable sushi chef and always picks the finest quality fish. I’ve been eating here for years and it is consistently delicious and authentic Japanese cuisine.

We have been going to Suzuki for his excellent sushi since his days at Kaito, which means about fifteen years. Suzuki knows what he’s doing and he does it well. It’s puzzling to see that some people for some reason want to bring politics into a simple review. We really don’t care what someone’s political views are. What we know is that Suzuki prepares the best sushi we’ve had and we’ve been fortunate to eat sushi from many different parts of this country. So don’t pay attention to nonsensical rants. If you want the best sushi, go to Kaishin.

We drove 1 hour to try this place and it was worth the trip. Moving down from NY, it is hard to find authentic sushi in Florida. This place is the REAL deal! Everything was excellent from the hot food to the sushi. The fish was cut perfectly, which most places do not understand how to do. The quality of the fish was exceptional and it was served beautifully. We will definitely be coming back here often! Thank you Chef!!

Kaishin is the best for freshest sushi in Martin County. Went last night for Mother's Day dinner and Susuki was his usual self, slicing the very best tuna and scallops for us. The tuna sushi melted in my mouth and the spicy scallops with yuzu sauce chili and sliced scallons was such a treat we ordered another. Best sushi I've had in a long time. Maggie works wonders in the kitchen and takes care of everyone. She is special.

This is my favorite Sushi Restaurant in Florida. I lived there for a year and when I went back to visit I had to eat there. The Chef is an authentic Japanese Sushi Chef, the staff are amazing, kind and down to earth. Chef Susuki is always a great conversationalist, respectful, friendly and professional. He takes pride in his sushi. The sushi is not the only wonderful cuisine here. The noodles are fabulous and I would order them at least once a week when I lived there. I really love this place. I usually look for a good sushi place wherever I live and this was the place for me when I lived in Jensen Beach. They are the best sushi in Florida with the best service! I recommend this place to anyone who wants great service and authentic sushi at a reasonable price!

Jan2020 Update: KAISHIN SUSHI IZAKAYA is a must do for locals or when in the area. Chef Toru = Rock*Star sushi chef and Maggie is a sweetheart. No more excuses for me to not get back to “regular status” just because I now live in Stuart, just 20 min. Chef Toru: thank you for #MSGAOriginal Review (5 Stars):I've eaten Sushi all over the world, since the mid-90's and Chef Toru is the master in how he serves Sashimi!! We always appreciate the special treats he surprises us with. His cucumber rolls are the best, as is Toro (fatty Tuna) which he often has. I've been enjoying Sushi/Sashimi @ KAISHIN since 2007, at both his current location and previous locations...always A+++Poppy Belichick can never resist Maggie's noodle dishes, and he always gets one to-go as well. The grilled Calamari salad is superb!ps. the only thing I'm disappointed about is that I now live in Stuart and not down the street in Jesen Bch and don;t make the time to eat here more often ;)

The service was very poor and slow, food was decent. It took 25 minutes to get our appetizers, which came out after our entrees. Overheard the sushi chef talking about how everyone from California doesn’t know anything about sushi, and all around not being very nice. The responses to other reviews on here from the owner are tasteless and rude. I also felt a little uncomfortable because my “group” was openly gay and they have their Trump decorations throughout the restaurant. They also told us that some seats by the chef were reserved, but within minutes of us being seated three separate parties that did not come in together were seated in the reserved spots.

This is the highest quality most beautiful sushi I have had, anywhere or anyplace. The small hot plates equally delicious. Excellent! Everything so fresh and delicious. Immaculate and Zen like decor and great service.

While visiting the area, my girlfriend and I stopped in for a sushi dinner. The service was great and the rolls were delicious and creative. The server, Maggie, and the chef, Suzuki, were very friendly. We especially loved the Omega roll and the GTR Roll. Suzuki takes his craft very seriously and it shows. The prices were very reasonable, especially for the area. We will definitely be back on our next rip down to Florida.
